Got Sketch #153

My friend Karen issured a card challenge using Valerie Salmon's Got Sketch #153.  I am very late with my interpretaton, but I finally completed my card.  Hope you enjoy it. 

Dreams Come True

Challenge #11 was to create a layout with a least one circle and a famous quote. Ashton has dreamed o f playing baseball since the age of two. This year his dream came true when he made the Allstar Team for baseball. T-ball was exciting but actually playing baseball was a thrill for him. My quote is from Walt Disney and it states:

"All our dreams can come true, if we have

the courage to pursue them."

I decided to hand write my quote to give the layout a personal touch. Hope you enjoy it.

Challenge #7

Challenge #7 was really a challenge for me. We were given a sketch with one exception. We had to incorporate a clipboard from the Fabulous Find Cartridge. I had three weeks to complete this challenge. My first attempt was a disaster. For some reason I had a creativity block. So I did not complete my challenge until today. I hope you enjoy it.....

Challenge #6 - Song Lyrics

For this challenge we were to create an item using the title and some of the lyrics to a song from the 70's. I chose Fantasy by Earth Wind and Fire. The lyrics printed on the tag state:

Every man has a place

in his heart there's a space

and the world can't erase his

fantasies

Take a ride in the sky

on our ship fantasii

all you dreams will come true

right away

and we will live together

until the twelfth of never

our voices will ring forever

as one.

This was a great challenge for me. I had a chance to re-live a lot of the great tunes and memories from that era. I had fun creating this layout and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I do.

Challenge #5

This challenge was particularly hard for me. It took me a long time to come up with a good layout. I put several together but did not like them. So, I am submitting my best try. Hope you guys like it.

Romantic Challenge

Challenge #4 was to create a 5x7 Romantic card. For this card, I used my Cricut for the sentiment and the hearts.
